Background
History
Hermann Tilke's Istanbul Park opened in 2005 and hosted the Turkish Grand Prix from 2005--2011, then briefly in 2020 and 2021. Its Turn 8 four-apex left-hander is one of F1's most celebrated corners; Turkey is scheduled to return in 2027.
